Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located by the River Severn, offering a relaxing and comfortable stay. The courtyard rooms are a bit challenging to access but provide a great location for exploration. The dining experience could use some improvements, although the overall setting is lovely.
Recommended by a colleague, I found the hotel to be a cozy stay with a lovely wedding hosted. The late-night room temperature was a drawback but the walk-in shower was convenient. The attentive yet unobtrusive service rose to the occasion brilliantly.
I stayed in a small but cozy room situated at the back of the hotel in a cottage behind, which was one of the old stables. It had everything we needed, including a cafetière with filter coffee, a pleasant surprise compared to the usual instant coffee in most hotels. The location was ideal for our activities, although some road noise could be heard early in the evening. The service with the new owners was superb, making our stay really pleasant. The dining experience exceeded expectations with a delicious meal, especially the fries.
